Brief Introduction of the Program

The works of CinCin Lee, seamlessly blending symphonic, classical, and pop music elements, will open the concert. Through these refined and genre-spanning compositions, which incorporate the vibrant energy of pop, the audience will be transported into a musical dreamscape filled with imagination. Following this, a series of vocal performances will highlight the harmonious fusion of music and lyrics. Renowned artists such as Eve Ai, a Golden Melody Award winner for Best Mandarin Female Singer, and Suming, a versatile musician celebrated for his Best Song of the Year and Indigenous Album awards, will take the stage with their pop-infused performances. Together, they will elevate the afternoon with a rich array of cross-genre styles, offering a diverse and captivating musical experience.

Brief Introduction of the Troupe

This concert not only celebrates of the diversity and innovation of music but also create an important opportunity to drive educational transformation and refining students' stage experience. We are honored to have renowned composer Professor CinCin Lee collaborate with musicians from the pop music industry, and we are especially pleased to invite internationally acclaimed conductor Fusao Kajima to lead the orchestra in presenting a concert that merges classical and popular music. The purpose is to showcase the boundlessness of music and its innovative spirit, while also promoting the transformation of our department’s academic programs by integrating more popular and cross-genre music to enrich the students' learning experience.
